Carlos M. Fernandes, represented by P4Photography, is one of the five finalists of the first Evolutionary Art Competition , a event included in the 2009 Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference, which will be held in Toronto between July 8 and 12. The artworks proposed by Fernandes — Timor Mortis Conturbat Me (2008), exhibited in 2008 at P4Photography gallery, and The Horse and the Ants (2009), inspired by the famous artwork/experiment by Eadweard Muybridge — were evaluated and selected by a multidisciplinary board.
