Photographer and photography editor.
Lives and works in Aljezur (Algarve) and Lisbon. He studied photography at Ar.Co, in Lisbon. Presently, is the manager of 1000olhos - Imagem e Comunicação (a photography and design agency).
In recent years he has been paying special attention to the Portuguese southwest, specially to the area covered by the St. Vincent Coast. He published some books releated to this region: Sea Warriors, 1998; Uncommon Places, 1999; In-Depth Work, 2001; Alembics and Alchemists, 2007.
He participated in several group and solo exhibitions since 1993, namely: Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon (solo, 1998), Galerie Thierry Marlat, Paris (group, 1999), Museu Nacional de História Natural, Lisbon (solo, 2000), Museu da Imagem de Braga (solo, 2000), Ministério das Finanças, Lisbon (solo, 2001),Museu de Serralves, Porto (group, 2002), Comptoir du Marais, Paris (group, 2004).
