These images are studies for the series "Surfaces" (2005), which was
exposed in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Serralves and awarded the
BES Revelação prize.
Carlos Lobo
Born in Guimarães, Portugal, 1974. Lives and works in London.
Recent studies include a BA in Multimedia Technologies at Instituto Politécnico do Porto(2004), a MA in Image and Communication at Goldsmiths University (London, 2005) and a Photography Programme at the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon (2006).
His work is represented in several private and public collections in Portugal and Europe.
