- Maria Matos — A History of Portuguese Theatre, is a collection of photographs depicting Maria Matos, a Portuguese actress celebrated not only by her performances on stage, but also by her successful career in cinema. The exhibition comprises portraits of the actress in her family environment, photos of the theatre companies on which she took an active part (amongst them, there is the Maria Matos−Mendonça de Carvalho company, which she founded in 1913 with her husband), and stage scenes of some of the performances that granted her respect and admiration from the audience.
